PinkTogether.com is a online community on MySpace where those moved by breast cancer can connect and provide support, comfort, and encouragement to one another. Prepare to cry, be inspired, and feel hope! The site is part of the national campaign, Pink Together, which is a national campaign to support those affected by breast cancer and raise awareness. General Mills is generously donating $2 million to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure is packaging some of their favorite brands with pink in October for the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You may have noticed all the pink out more than normal this month, I know I sure have!
General Mills will also donate $1 (up to $20,000) each time you post a comment of encouragement, send a virtual flower bouquet, or share a story on PinkTogether.com in October.
To help generate awareness, one reader will win a Inspiring Hope gift basket which includes a sleeve travel mug, a running ribbon charm bracelet, a pink leather strap keychain, a pink cinch bag (which is oh so cute!), and a set of inspiring note cards.
