- 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
- 8–10 ounces vegetable broth
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoon basil
Instructions
- Bring tomatoes and broth to a boil in a large saucepan.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add basil, sugar, cream, and butter.
- Cook until butter is melted.
