Margherita Pasta


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked dried pasta (I’ve used penne and bow ties)
  • 1/4 cup butter (preferably Land O Lakes Butter with Olive Oil & Sea Salt)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (I used kitchen shears to cut mine)
  • 1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese (not that fake stuff!)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to directions.
  2. Melt butter and garlic over medium heat until sizzling.
  3. Add tomatoes and basil.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes until soft.
  5. Add pasta and parmesan cheese.
  6. Stir until combined.
