One of the best ways to save even more money is when you know How To Stack Coupons. Stacking coupons is using two coupons on the same product at one time. Manufactures coupons do not allow this practice, but many individual stores allow you to use a manufacture coupon along with their in store coupons for more savings.
How To Stack Coupons
Consult in store coupon policies. While the list below shares multiple well known stores that allow coupons to be stacked, it is not comprehensive. For any store you regularly shop in, you should consult their individual coupon policy as well as check with the store manager to determine if stacking coupons is allowed. In some stores, you can stack multiple coupons, but only one can be stacked per product. So if you are buying 5 bars of soap and have 5 manufacturer coupons, they will only allow you to stack an in store coupon on one bar of soap, not all 5.
Watch for in store coupons that say “store coupon” instead of “manufacturer coupon”. Not all coupons in store inserts or through store mail outs are actually store coupons. Many are actual manufacturer coupons that are distributed by the store. Before stacking make sure that the coupon itself actually states that it is a store coupon and not a manufacturer coupon.
The following stores most often allow stacking of coupons:
- Dollar General
- Family Dollar
- Target
- Kroger
- Walgreen’s
- Fred’s
- CVS
- Albertson’s
Before stacking coupons consult your in store coupon policy and manager for verification. Make sure that all terms on coupons match, and product matches the coupon you are using. Stacking coupons on top of sale prices can bring you amazing savings in most stores. This practice is one of the best ways to save with coupons in an area that no longer doubles coupons. If coupons are also being doubled, you can have even more spectacular savings in the process.
