I recently had the opportunity to try out Cottonelle Clean Care toilet paper along with the Cottonelle flushable wipes. We normally buy a inexpensive brand of toilet paper that isn't nearly as plush as the Cottonelle Clean Care toilet paper so it was a welcome change if you know what I mean! We have not experienced the Cottonelle flushable wipes as of yet, though we have tried other brands that fail to deliver.
We still have a couple of young elementary aged kids who need a little extra help in the bathroom department and the flushable wipes definitely help in this regard. However, in our household, even if they say they are flushable and safe, the big boss tells us we aren't allowed to flush anything except toilet paper. This has come to the point, where the littlest one thinks she lives in a third world country and will put all of her toilet paper trash in the trash can instead of flushing it! The boss has been a plumber for over 10 years so we listen to him and bag up flushable wipes instead of flushing them. It's not really a huge deal as long as you have a liner in the trash can and take it out regularly. I do think we err on the side of caution in this household. Don't tell but I have broken this rule in the past! :)
(Do note that these wipes are deemed septic and sewer safe by the INDA/EDANA and the Cottonelle flushable wipes fully comply with the guidelines set forth!)
The Cottonelle has some hilarious hidden camera videos to show people that nothing can be properly cleaned without the combination of cloth and water. You will probably laugh out like I did! They are all great but my favorite is:
Um, yeah, this is normally something awkward that we don't talk about or discuss with anyone else! I've heard others say, we use them on babies to get them clean, so why not ourselves! So true! The whole idea is you can't feel clean or fresh without using more than just paper is perfectly illustrated by these videos.
