Made from dollar store supplies, this sweet little basket is the perfect way to get into the spirit of the season for sweethearts! Here is how you can get started!
Supplies needed:
- Valentine’s Day themed cupcake cups {Shop Amazon for cupcake liners.}
- Red pipe cleaners {Shop pipe cleaners online.}
- Foam crafting hearts {Shop craft hearts.}
- Scissors
- Hot glue, glue gun
Directions:
1. Begin by cutting your pipe cleaner in half. This will act as the handle of your treat basket.
2. Bend it in half, and add a dab of glue to the each end. Press the pipe cleaner to the insides of the cupcake cup. Hold in place until dry and secure.
3. On the sides of the treat basket, glue a few foam hearts in place. You can add one or layer them as we did.
Feel free to use any color combination you want. There are so many different cupcake cups to choose from so you can go as plain or as fancy as you wish.
To enjoy your Valentine’s Day treat basket, simply fill it with treats such as conversation hearts. You can place one at each guest’s place setting, or just hand them out as guests arrive.
