When my wife and I discovered our first cat we mistook it for a dead squirrel in the road. For some reason we stopped, and there crawled a quite helpless, incredibly cute, yet ferocious beast (I mean kitten). I scooped her up in my large hands, held her close, and said reassuringly, “You’re alright. It’s okay. We love you.” Her disturbing response was a series of hisses that did not end until I passed her on to my wife’s delicate hands.
It’s been six years now and she’s STILL hissing, and constantly competing for my wife’s attention. Despite our volatile relationship she has absolutely become a member of our family.

A cute cat story …. we have 2 cats, one is an 18 year old sealpoint siamese who was quite a “talker” when he was younger.. he would howl and it would sound exactly like he was saying “I wanna go ouuuuuut” (indoor kitties here)… finally, he learned how to open the back sliding door to get out onto the patio by himself if it wasn’t locked. He’s an old man now and I love him dearly, he’s a cancer survivor (vaccine associated sarcoma), in renal failure (I fear he’s ending the end stage but he’s been fighting for 5 years now) and has a funky sternum from an injury that they didn’t want to sedate him to fix (doesn’t hurt him at all.. just has a hook now lol) due to his kidneys.
We also have a 4 year old black/white DSH. She, on the other hand, never even leanred how to meow or find her voice lol. She does meow… or does the movements but no sound ever comes out. She is a great watch cat though.. she growls like a dog (crazy!) anytime anyone comes near the front door.

Would love to win! Thanks!

If I won the cat litter, I’d give it to my daughter to help her out. She’s been going through a rough patch for the past couple of years and got a kitten about a year ago to keep her company. The litter would help cut her expenses and make the pet more affordable. As we couponers/bargain hunters understand, every little bit counts!

My cat Lucky is so cute. She is declawed but she still “sharpens” her claws. She does it on something with an edge so she can curl her toes and make it make a lot of noise and it looks and sounds like she is really sharpening her claws it cracks me up. She was declawed as a kitten so I don’t know why she does it. She is very particular about where she pees too. She only pees in one corner of the litter box and she hangs onto the edge with all 4 paws and pees with her butt high in the air. You’d have to see it but it’s too funny.

I am not a big pet person but I had a stray cat that looked pregnant that stayed on my front porch for a few weeks. She always ran 20 feet away when I passed by. Of course I had to feed her. Then one day, I opened the door to go outside, she ran inside. Two days later, 5 kittens emerged. 6 months later, I have 6 active kittens.
I hope I am not now what of them crazy cat people that ends up having 30-40 running around. Oh well, the vet fixed them for me and now I have to find them homes.

I recently adopted three cats the youngest Cooper was a kitten when I got him. Cooper was dropped off at my vet sick and my vet fixed him up and he lived there till I came along and adopted him. He lived there with several other dogs and cats and picked up a lot of of the dogs habits. I would be watching TV and see a blanket moving down the hall and it would be Cooper dragging it with him. For some reason he would take all the blankets throws hair ties change anything he could find and would stash it all in a pile in the bathroom then he would go in there and lay on it all. Things disappear often and I will find them in different hiding places Cooper has picked. It is so cute to watch him and wonder what he is going to snatch next and what he plans to do with things he takes so many things most cats would never be interested in. You never know what will be missing next but you know who to go to.

I just adopted a rescue cat and went out to buy him some toys. I found a cute little toy with feathers on it that chirped like a bird when it was touched. I gave it to him and he was terrified of it.

the dogs think it would be awesome if for Christmas they get treats and the cat gets Tidy Cat :)

Oh, great giveaway! This is my Mia’s favorite litter. I just picked her up from four days in the kitty hospital. She has a thyroid issue and had radioactive iodine…now I have to wait two weeks to have good snuggies with her!

We live in the country, so we have many lost, homeless kitties who find our house. We had a cat wander in on March 31 who gave birth to four kittens just four hours later,on April Fool’s Day! A two-day-old baby was found by our dog so we bottle-fed him. Another had an illness at age 2 and is now totally deaf. At present we have 11 purry furry critters who are members of our family, and 4 others who have adopted our porch as home, in addition to several others who come get a bite to eat as needed. We try to find loving forever homes for those we can, but there are way more kitties than homes :,( so we just feed and love them as we can. Please remind everyone to SPAY AND NEUTER their pets! As you can imagine, we are really hoping to win a free coupon…cat litter and food is a large budget item around here!

I posted a comment on here but it is saying that it is awaiting moderation. No clue what that means…

I love my furry friend, he’s on my lap right now!. He has an old ratty, canvas mouse with “catnip” printed on the side. He carries it like a security blanket from one end of the house to the other, When in bed at night I can hear him racing from the living room, pauses briefly to drop it on the bedroom floor before leaping into bed and plopping down beside me. He’s a funny boy!

I like Tidy Cat Litter and it would last longer now that I only have one cat. My 13yr old cat died last month, but we still have our 10yr old one. She was a funny cat, she loved to lay in the bathroom sink or climb into the back of the dishwasher when I would try and load it.

Thank you for offering this giveaway. I myself have anywhere from 4 to as many as 15 cats at my home. Most are from people dropping them off at my barn. I take them to a vet and try to find forever homes for them.

Hmm I have two actually. The first is about my cat Simba. I have issues with my muscles when I can end up in a lot of pain, and more or less have to go to bed. Well I’ll be lying there Simba will walk up the mattress making sure not to touch me. Lay down on my pillow with his head on my shoulder purring Until he thinks I’ve fallen asleep. If I don’t close my eyes he will stay like that for an hour or more.
The second story is about our kitten Ollie. Ollie was two months when we brought him home. He’s a great little guy , Litter trained and everything when we got him. To bad we didn’t tell him our choc lab was a dog, or tell Carley ( the choc lab) he wasn’t a puppy. She nursed him for the first three weeks we had him.
The oddest thing is, Carley has never had pups.

Hi, I wanted to share my pet story. I have always been a lover of dogs and when I met my husband he was a complete cat guy with three of his own! The worst part I am allergic too cats and so naturally had a dislike towards them!
The first few years were absolutely horrible for me with allergies and in between that there were kittens. I really struggled but honestly who could hate such cute little fur balls even if they made you miserable!
In August of this past year the oldest of my husbands three cats passed away. It was obviously hard on my husband who has had Snaps for 15 years. But most surprisingly it was hard on me too. As much as I always made remarks about cats in general I loved her so much. Who couldn’t love a animal even a cat who has been in your life for so long. We still have the two other cats and they have been in my life for now 11 years along with our dog for 8 years. They are part of our family and always will be in our hearts, I wouldn’t change that for anything.
Three cats… can you imagine the amount of cat litter we have gone through in all those years!!! =0)

I love my cat. I never thought I would have one, but 3 years ago I agreed to take in a stray cat that a friend of mine had found, and I couldn’t imagine not having him here. He may be a bit loud at times (standing on my back, meowing in my ear, and pawing at my shoulder when I am sleeping after a 12-18 hour shift at work) but it’s all worth it when he does something cute like pounce on his favorite toy or especially when he cuddles up in the crook of my arm and takes a nap with me. I guess he grew on me :)

My cat (Tinka) is a theif! You just can’t be mad at her because she’s so cute. She steals rolls of stamps from the desk, pens, and candy. I’ll be doing my bills then reach for my pen and there she is behind me playing with the cap. The cutest thing happened a couple of weeks ago. My kids had some smarties on the table next to the couch. She jumped up, batted it around, picked it up with her teeth, jumped down, and pranced off like she owned it.

Thanks for the giveaway!!! I love my furbabies!! Good luck everyone!!!

We have had our two cats for almost 12 years. About three years ago, we expanded our family and had our daughter. Whenever the baby would cry, our feisty Calico would run over to her and swish her tail in the baby’s face, which immediately calmed her down.

Tidy Cats is the only Cat Litter I use! I have tried others and well frankly some of those “experiments” have just plain STUNK! :)
