This weekend, my two littlest (5 & 2) watched Dr. Dolittle: The Million Dollar Mutt with me. It is a kid friendly movie that keeps even the little ones interest. Dr. Dolittle: The Million Dollar Mutt will be released on May 19, 2009 and we were able to watch it before the release thanks to 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.

There are many animals highlighted in this movie, where Lucky, the dog,  proves he’s worth millions in love and laughter! Maya Dolittle ditches her dreams of becoming a vet and travels to LA to take a job as a talk show host for animals with a Paris Hiltonesq heiress, Tiffany Monaco. Of course, there will be some snags in their trip and the animals save the day. I did miss Eddie Murphy’s humor in this edition but it was still entertaining and hilarious!

  3. My favorite animal . . . I have several pets, but Phoebe, my big St. Bernard puppy (only 120 pounds) is my favorite. She’s my baby’s second mama. She keeps him from getting into trouble. She herds him back when he wanders a little too far. She smacks his hand when he tries to touch things he shouldn’t. And the instinct thing is so cute. When it’s cold and snowy, she never wants to come back inside. She stands guard waiting to save someone.

  30. I adore all furry creatures. We underestimate their intelligence and ability to give so much unconditional love. We rescued one kitten from a garbage can at 2 weeks old…she will always be beloved to us. We rescued a second as a baby from a back yard after her mom was taken away. We rescued the rest of our kittens from shelters….we love them all differently, but equally. They bring great joy to our lives and we try to give back in many ways by volunteering at various fund raising events sponsored by numerous shelters here. Thanks for reading.

  31. I love dogs they are so smart and fun to train My mom was a Vet tech so as a child my mom rescused many anamals and brought them home for us to love and care for .

  75. Hands down I love cats the most for domestic animals. We have 7 cats as pets–one is an “outside” cranky gal who refuses to come inside as she came to us as a hard stray. I love dogs also a lot but since I had to put my very ill old fellow down in 1997 I haven’t ventured again into owning a dog. Thanks for the chance to win your giveaway.   93. I have to enter this one. My daughter with disabilities love animals and she of course is my sidekick movie review and deal maker and her favorite movies are for dogs. In fact she is watching Hotel Dogs for the umpteenth time this morning. She gives away movies and she would be excited to win one. We have four dogs and two cats, our Pip the dwarf hamster.

  119. My favorite pet ever was a rat (yes, a rat) that I had in college. Her name was Decadence and knew her name. She loved playing on the floor and would come to you when you called her name. She lived a long rat life.

  122. HI! My favorite animal is my dog Zoe’!! Zoe is a rescued, one-of-a-kind, great dog! She is adorable, a medium sized dog, who loves to cuddle.
    I recommend rescuing a dog to anyone looking for a dog! There are so many good dogs out there, many of them already house-broken and neutered/spayed!
