Michael Angelo’s was at the Blogher Conference. Not just the brand but the actual family behind the recipes. This gave a personal connection to me with the Michael Angelo’s Gourmet Foods brand.

You can find Michael Angelo’s Single Serve and Family Sized Meals at Walmart Stores nationwide priced around $9.49. You can choose from the following six Family Serve: Meat Lasagna, Eggplant Parmesan, Chicken Piccata, Vegetable Lasagna, Shrimp Scampi and Italian-Style Sausage and Meatballs. I always love it when I can find a good variety of meatless frozen dishes. Check out the Store Locator for all the places you can find Michael Angelo’s.

I try to steer away from prepared frozen meals for the family for a variety of reasons. I was pleased to know that Michael Angelo’s products are made with real ingredients without adding additional ingredients with names that are impossible to pronounce. Look at the ingredients for the Vegetable Lasagna. The first ingredient is tomatoes followed by more vegetables.

While at Blogher, I discovered that the Michael Angelo’s meals are not started until the grocery store places their order. This means that the entrees are shipping to stores within 36 hours of being made eliminating unnecessary time housed in a freezer warehouse. Of course, this makes these meals the freshest frozen meals you can find!

I love having some frozen meals in the freezer as some nights we have so many activities going on I barely have time to take a shower let alone plan a meal! It saves us paying for take-out or going through the drive-thru when I can get a delicious meal on the table in just 10 minutes! I will specifically be shopping for Michael Angelo’s meals when I shop in the freezer section.

Remington has launched a new line of fun line of styling tools. They obviously know their target since my twelve year old daughter proclaimed the straightener belonged to her as soon as I opened up the box.  These are priced around $19.99 and would make a great gift for any teenagers!

My daughter even pointed out that the Remington straightener was able to be set at a hotter setting than my straightener, which would work great for her hair since it naturally has curl to it.  It’s best to just show the pictures!

I always am needing help with organization so I was happy to get a few Snapware containers in the mail.  While, I haven’t had a chance to use it all, you know, with all the Back to School Giveaway posts and all! However, I did find quick and easy uses for two of the items, even if not quite conventional on one of the items.

First off, I was excited to see a very sturdy cereal container with fliptop lid. This Snapware Airtight Jumbo container will hold 23 cups of cereal. I’ve also noticed compared to the cheap ones I bought a few weeks ago, these do not tip over because they have a square bottom on them.

Cereal is something I’m always finding on the bottom of the pantry floor because the boxes don’t get closed up tight. I’m going to have to invest in a few more of these because if I do that then the kids will know that these are the cereals they are suppose to eat, the rest don’t get opened yet!

The next item I used but in an unconventional way was the Snapware Snap ‘N Stack Medium 2 Layer Sandwich Boxes. My daughter had some moon dough, which is so fun, and so I put the packets in those containers for easy stacking storage.

If you want to use the Snap ‘N Stack Sandwich Box for its intended use you will be happy to know it is BPA-free and is dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe. It incorporates Snapware’s interlocking stacking system as well!
