Philips has offered a very generous giveaway to my readers, they are going to give one of you a Philips Docking Entertainment System (DC912) with a retail value of $179.99.  While, I haven’t actually tried this the Docking Station, I’m in the market for one and this Docking station has much to offer!

  21. I keep all my college class lectures on my iPod so that I can listen to them on my two-hour one-way trip to campus. This allows me study time. My teens think it’s nuts to relisten to lectures but it keeps the A’s rolling in. If I am not listening to lectures then I like to listen to my play lists; they include all genres: big band, classic rock, classical, Christian, blues, raggae and rap. I think the only “portable” music device I have is my radio in my car, but if I won this, I suspect my dh would find it in our budget to get those iphones he’s been mooning over for the past few years! I’m partial to Christian music, everything from Contemporary to Old Time Gospel, and Blue Grass Revival.

  40. I love a lot of music, but my favorite at the moment is Jason Aldean. My 3 year old is in love with the song Big Green Tractor, so this is the song most played in our family.

  44. That’s a tough one. I have a very eclectic mix on my mp3 player…my favorite band is Green Day, and they are categorized many different ways…I’ll say punk since that’s what they are pretty much still considered, thanks!

  249. Sign me up. My showtunes and Broadway hits would sound great coming through this extensive docking station. My family puts up with it but if someone were to steal my ipod they would likely ask to return it after discovering my musical selections. And musical movie selections.
