A reader recently asked me:
If I print out a coupon, can I just make copies of it to use?
No, no, no!
Please don’t copy printable coupons from sources such as Coupons.com, SmartSource.com, RedPlum.com, and CouponNetwork.com. These coupons have specific coupon prints for each individual as well as overall prints for the entire network. In addition, each coupon is printed with security information that will allow the manufacturer to catch if it is a duplicate coupon. Your store will not be reimbursed for copied coupons and this could make stores change their coupon policies to disallow all printable coupons.

This is great advice. Living overseas with the Air Force we get a lot of coupons sent to us ( we get to use expired ones here for up to 6 mos at the commissary which is such a help!). I have had a few instances where there were stacks of copied coupons sent, and trashed them before sending them on to the next on my coupon hop I have set up for overseas military lol. I don’t think that many people realize the problem with copying coupons like this.. so wonderful post! ty for sharing ^_^
