  1. Going to the zoo with my husband and daughter–we’re trying to buy a house right now so an extravagant day or gift is out of the question. But that’s okay–the house is worth the sacrifice!

  3. With my parents…

    Tonight I am taking my mom to an Oak Ridge Boys concert…her favorite. we will spend the weekend at the Tulip Festival in town…at her request. Dinner at a great restaurant tonight. Brunch on Mother’s Day at another great restaurant…Italian foods while listening to jazz band.

  4. I’m going to spend mother’s day with my family. My 3 sisters and I are going to cook Sunday lunch for my mom. My oldest sister is pregnant with the first grandchild. We are all very excited and can’t wait for the little one to arrive. So, in honor of the first grandchild, we are pulling together and giving my mom a nice pack-and-play with a bassinet so mom won’t have to bend over far to pick up the baby. Of course, dad and the hubbies will be in attendance, along with my grandparents and a few other extended family. But this day is all about our mom and making it special to her.

  6. My and my two kids will be taking my son out to breakfast in the morning and my mother in law out out for dinner

  7. I’m not sure what I am doing…but I know my husband & kids (5) are up to something good:)

  8. We will be going to church in the morning, hubby will probably make a yummy breakfast in morning. And hopefully do something nice for dh too since his b-day was the day before.

  9. I think we will spend Mother’s Day doing absolutely nothing, which is sometimes the best present of all! :)

  12. What we have generally done these past few years is take the kids to granny’s house to sleep over Saturday night. Then Sunday morning we sleep in and then get uo and go to champagne brunch about 1pm and pick the kids back up around 3pm. Works for me!

  24. Hopefully I’ll be spending Mother’s Day either giving birth or enjoying my new baby girl – my due date is Mother’s Day!

  25. I’m spending Mother’s Day with my 5 month old son. It will be the first time I get to celebrate Mother’s Day as a mom.

  26. We will spend Mother’s Day with my daughter and grandaughter. Going out to dinner and then to their house for some fun family games.

  32. My parents live in a different state. They are coming up that weekend for the Holland “Tulip Festival”. So I will be spending it with my mom…(and dad).

  33. This Mother’s Day I will be looking at apartments so I can move from my 450 Sq Ft studio before the baby gets here!

My husband and I decided last night actually that we will be celebrating this mother’s day for me, and father’s day for him even though the baby probably wont be born then :) So we will go out to dinner. We are trying to save up our money as I don’t get maternity leave from work, so nothing too extravagent :)

  35. It looks like I am going to spend it being a nana! My stepdaughter just went into labor…super excited!!!
    I will also have a wonderful time with my 15 yr old and hubby – and I am sure I will spend some time with my mom!!

  38. Rocking my belly and talking to the twins we’ve finally been able to have at age 41 and stressing about how we will take care of doubles. All of our family is out of state but thankfully we have great neighbors. I would love to win something to help relax me. I look forward to my twins( 1 boy-1girl) but we want to be the best parents we can be! Your site is sooo helpful

  44. My best friend is having a baby in 4 weeks, this would be a great gift to give to her, Baby Story DVD with the 10 couples expecting their first child, reading your comment Briana, that would have sooooo been me, getting all emotional, then cracking up..damn mood swings during pregnancy..haha

  46. I am going to spend Mother’s Day loving my daughter and being thankful for the joy of motherhood! Hopefully there will be some dining out in there too so that I don’t have to cook for the entire day! LOL!

  47. Well, I am glad that I read your reviews. I don’t think I would benefit much from the Bond with Your Baby Before Birth book… Sounds a little, um… out there for me. I don’t even believe in horoscopes for Pete’s sake. :) But the Bamboo Panda sounds delightful! And I love the information about the renewable resources.

  48. This Mother’s Day I’m going to spend it with my mom, and my 3 boys, taking her out to a really nice restaurant, I love surprising her when she least expects it. Wish I was the one getting pampered, but that’s ok..as they say time is precious. :)

  51. This Mother’s Day, I am going to be going through all of my yard sale finds! Hopefully I will find some maternity clothes! My birthday is the day before and I always go to the town wide yard sale that day. (Sidenote: I was actually born on Mother’s Day!)

  54. I will most likely spend it with my children and husband. I think he mentioned going to a festival. (Renaissance Festival in Georgia) . My siblings and I plan to surprise my mom the day before Mother’s Day.
