School is back in session for my children and now we are busy with after school activities and sports! It’s getting more difficult to create healthy meals in our limited time frame. McCormick® asked me to re-create their Baked Crusted Salmon as a fresh take on dinner using McCormick flavorful spices.
Even as I was checking out at the grocery store with my ingredients, I had the cashier asking me if salmon was good. Was it easy to make? The answer is yes! As you may or may not know, I stopped eating meat several years ago. I have incorporated some fish back into my diet and my favorite is salmon due to the texture and taste. It is something that I would have never thought would be easy to cook at home. This entire meal took me about 20 minutes to prepare, which is perfect for our schedule!
Super simple to make this delicious, healthy dinner. Here’s the ingredients you will need:
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® California Style Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Lawry’s® Seasoned Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Dill Weed
- 1 pound salmon fillets
- 2 teaspoons oil
Mix together the McCormick® Spices…
Brush Salmon with oil…
Top with mixed spices…
Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes until fish is flakey.
Delicious! I was very happy with the flavorful spice mixture from McCormick®.

Salmon is one of my favorites, baked or broiled. Had some broiled Friday. Virgin olive oil and coarse sea salt for 15 minutes under the broiler was all it took. Yummy.
