For the past six weeks, my remote deposit capture scanner from our bank was not working. Apparently, while trying to fix another computer issue, I may have deleted a vital program for my beautiful remote deposit electronic gizmo. Let me tell ya, I missed my little machine so much.
Why?
Apparently, I love things that are available online. I love virtual and remote banking. It is so much easier to just scan those checks at the office and have them deposited into my account. Instead of remembering to stop at the bank after a day at the office. Then waiting in line. Of course, there is always the fact that you have to talk to a actual person. Not that I don’t like people. They are very nice people. I just feel like my sanity is sometimes at the tipping point while in line at the bank…
Occasionally, I have screaming, fighting kids in the car. You don’t. Lucky you! Well, some days I do and even that 5-10 minutes taking a deposit to the bank can feel like forever when that starts up. It is on those days, I love that my bank has options.
Oh, and it is money-saving too as I don’t have to drive that few miles to the bank. Money-saving and time-saving, which are two things I love. Plus, it helps cash flow as our money is in the account quickly!
I love that my bank understands me and knows I’m more of a virtual person, which means the remote deposit scanner fits my needs. Once, I had my end of the computer situation fixed, the bank’s tech guy came over to the office and fixed me up. A big thanks to Steve out there if you are reading!
