Snowman Cookie Pops

Cookie Pops Snowman

 Oh the weather is outside is frightful….

But these delicious treats are delightful! 

Have you been hit by snow? These Cookie Snowman Pops would be a fun family activity on your snow days! You will need the Wilton Round Pops Cookie Pan for this recipe!

Here’s what you will need:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup softened Butter
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 3/4 cup Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 12 long Lollipop Stocks

GLAZE INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 2 tbsp Corn Syrup

ICING INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup softened Butter
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 2 cup Powdered Sugar

DECORATIONS

  • 24 Purple Spice Drops
  • 60 Semi Sweet Baking Morsels
  • 2 Orange Starbursts

Snowman Cookie Pops

Ingredients

For Cookies

  • 1 cup softened Butter
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 3/4 cup Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 12 long Lollipop Stocks

GLAZE INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 2 tbsp Corn Syrup

ICING INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup softened Butter
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 2 cup Powdered Sugar

DECORATIONS

  • 24 Purple Spice Drops
  • 60 Semi Sweet Baking Morsels
  • 2 Orange Starbursts


Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add egg and vanilla and continue beating.
  3. Mix dry ingredients together and incorporate into wet mixture a litlle at a time.
  4. Press dough into pan, filling each about 3/4 full.
  5. Press stick into each cookie.
  6. Add additional dough on back as needed to cover stick.
  7. Bake in 400 oven 13 minutes or until lightly brown around edges.
  8. Let cookie sit in pan for about 5 minutes, then carefully run a knife around the edge of each pop to loosen.
  9. Cool on a wire rack.
  10. Cut Starburst into thirds. Then cut each of these diagonally and roll with fingers to form carrot noses. Repeat.
  11. Mix powdered sugar corn syrup and milk to make glaze.
  12. Fill in face of pop in white glaze and allow to set at least 30 minutes.
  13. Press purple Spice Drop eyes in place.
  14. Place Starburst Nose and morsels for mouth.
  15. Allow to set for at least an hour.
  16. In a large bowl, cream the butter.
  17. Mix in the sugar one cup at a time.
  18. Beat in the milk mixing until fluffy.
  19. Transfer icing to a piping bag.
  20. Refrigerate to firm.
  21. Pipe a ring around the cookie pop.
