4 Jobs that You Can Do From Home

Are you looking to make a little extra cash once the kids go back to school but aren’t really ready to take the plunge into getting a part or full time job? Consider working from home! There are many jobs available, all you have to know is what is real and what is a scam.

Here are 4 jobs that you can try working from home:

  1. Virtual Assistant. Are you good at answering emails, managing social media, or doing graphic design? You may be able to find a job as a virtual assistant. Virtual Assistants provide a variety of tasks for a company or individual that they work for, all based on your skills.
  2. Independent Consultant. Do you have friends that sell Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, Scentsy, or other similar products? You can too! Host parties, have catalog parties, and sell goods online to make a percentage of the sales.
  3. Housecleaning. This isn’t a job that you can do from you own home, but you can still do it on your own time and you don’t need an office. Put out ads on Facebook Groups and Craigslist that you are an experienced housecleaner (and what mom isn’t experienced at that?). Make sure to give your rates and charges for mileage if necessary.
  4. Pet Walking. Again, not a job that you can do inside your home but just outside your home! Find pet owners that are gone during the day or are going to be gone on vacation and are looking for someone to walk their pets while they are away. This would be an easy way to get exercise worked in your schedule as well!

No matter what you decide to do, when you work from home or work out of the home you can set your own hours to make sure you can be there when the kids get off of school. You earn a little cash while they are gone during the day and they still get mom time when they come home!
