Start Your Mornings with Little Debbie® Mini Muffins

March 1, 2017 by Briana Carter

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Little Debbie® . As always, all opinions are my own.

Hello Morning. My good, good friend. Or maybe not my good friend, depending on the day.

Mornings. You either love them or hate them! As for me, I am slow moving in the morning but I am extremely blessed that my youngest children are children of the morning. Morning routines are super important to get a great start to your day and to your children’s day.

Little Debbie® asked me to share my family’s mornings as part of the Moms of 7 a.m. campaign! By 7 a.m., my kids should be out of the house or close to it so technically I am more of a mom of 6:30 a.m.

While some of the Moms of 7 a.m. are struggling to get their children up in the morning, my youngest son bounces out of bed to get ready for the morning. The kid is absolutely amazing to be able to set his own alarm and get himself up in the morning at just twelve years old. He starts his day off with a shower to wake himself up and start the day off fresh. This is a great way to start out any day but even more so a great way to start out a school day. Not only does he get up on his own, he makes sure his younger sister gets up too!

These two make it way too easy for this mom to slack off when it comes to mornings.

Way too easy. They already wake themselves up on their own in the morning but they go a step further with their responsibility. They are even completely capable and willing to make their own breakfast in the morning. It is usually something easy like Little Debbie ® Mini Muffins! If they are running behind schedule, they can just grab a bag of these to take on the bus with them.

The only time I really have to step in is when we are low on a favorite breakfast product and the tension gets thick! We have to make sure we keep enough of our favorite products in stock to prevent these issues from even occurring.

Don’t hate me quite yet. Even as my morning have gotten much easier over the years, this wasn’t always the case. The youngest two children watched the struggles of mom trying to wake up and get their older siblings motivated to get ready for school all while trying to juggle two toddlers. Now, those were the mornings of crazy town.

We still have those mornings where we stayed up way too late the night before and everyone is struggling to wake up. Then, oops, here’s a form that needs filled out/signed/check attached, etc. Or even the crazy mornings, when the kids realize that they need to take a homemade lunch to school for a field trip. Those are the dreaded 7 a.m. mornings and thankfully most of our mornings run very smooth!

Tell me about your mornings! Check out the Little Debbie® Facebook page to read about more morning stories!
