We now have a friendly mobile phone version of Bargain Briana thanks to Mofuse at m.bargainbriana.com (I first found out about this from Deal Seeking Mom – isn’t she great!!!)
Even if this isn’t beneficial for my readers, I know I will use it myself as sometimes I get in the store and forget the specifics of a deal or forgot to write something on my list, etc. The regular version of my blog takes forever to load on my phone and is so confusing because everything is everywhere. This version is a MUCH cleaner and easier to read version. To the left is a sample of what it looks like. It has my logo and then 10-20 of my latest blog entries as links. You can then click on the link you need – whether it be Marsh Deals, CVS Scenarios, etc.
You can click on m.bargainbriana.com right now and it will take you to a page where you can forward this information as a text message to your mobile phone. You might want to go ahead and do this just in case you are out and about and forget!
If you have your own blog and want to mobilize your own blog, you can do it in about 5 seconds for FREE! If you own your own domain you can customize your mobile url… like “m.bargainbriana.com” instead of the mofuse url. It will be easier for your readers to remember a “m” in front of your domain so do this is if you own your domain name. You will have to do a CNAME entry in your DNS. I’m very non-technical and was able to do this without any problems. Mofuse gives you simple instructions on how to do this.
