Since I’ve started blogging, I haven’t had much time for another one of my hobbies – reading. While, Willow is not a book I would have found on my own since it is targeted for young adults, I’m glad it was put in front of me. Once I started reading it, I could.not.put.it.down. It was a quick read for me but not an unemotional one. You can read my full review of Willow over at the Buzz…by Bargain Briana.
I know some of you are asking yourself when does she have TIME to read! I’m a FAST reader and I work my reading in while I’m drying my hair, waiting at the bank, etc. This book in particular, I stayed up late on Sunday night to finish since I couldn’t put it down!

I have recently made more time for reading by spending less time online. I also read in bed at night and any free time. Most of my reading is done by audiobook – I listen in the car, in bed, doing housework, working out…you name it! I am a high school counselor and LOVE young adult books about emotional issues – often I can loan them to students for bibliotherapy.

I usually try to get some reading in when everyone is already in bed, or before I start getting ready in the morning. Something new i have started doing is checking out audiobooks at the library and listening to them in the car I get to listen to the books everyone is talking about when I can’t actually sit down and read the book.

I fit in my reading time when I take my son to a park, and he is off on his own with pals. Also, I read just before bed. When my son is at school, I don’t read, I do all my emails, coupons, shopping and get organised.
Melissa
I love to read. LOVE IT! I don’t get much time either. But I read in waiting rooms, while the car is warming up and on the potty. My boys would rather play with mommy than watch her read but they like books too. (building with them, stacking for a post to stuff they aren’t supposed to get too but hey, they are 1 and 2.)

I read at almost any opportunity that I can get. Usually first thing in the morning, or at least after I have been on the computer checking out e-mails and book reviews and also in the evening after dinner. I am not much of a television watcher, would rather pick up a book and sit in my little sun room curled up in my chair and read. Also when I can’t sleep late at night, I will get up and read for awhile, that usually relaxes me enough to go back to sleep.
Beth
Now that tax season is ending, I’ll have time to read. I’m going to add this book to my to-read list.

My favorite thing to do is snuggle into bed and read until I can’t keep my eyes open any more.

I fit in reading at home. Outside, I make the most of my time to socialise and go out so that I have a balanced lifestyle. At home, I curl up anywhere, but preferably my room, to get in a few book-hours. One slightly disturbing tradition at my house is to read when we’re eating dinner. When the choices are TV or books, it’s not really that hard. :)
Beth
I can get some reading in first thing in the morning after checking email. Also I have time during the day about an hour to read. Thanks

I fit in reading when I pick up my son from school. I always have a book in my pocket book so I also will often read while waiting in any line. I get out of work at 2pm, grab an iced coffee and drive to his school. I get there by 2:45 or so, and he gets out at 3:15. This usually gives me at least a half hour daily.

I think my daughter was talking about this book. I don’t believe she has read it yet but she did read “Cut” which is similar. All I can say by the review is Wow. As a parent it might be difficult to read this book but I’m glad that someone out there is writing stuff like this. It helps everyone, parent and child alike, relate and learn to overcome.

I love to read, but have absolutely no time to just read, so I keep my current book in my purse and when I am at the tag office (I am a title
clerk) or the doctor’s office, any time I am waiting on someone or some-
thing, I pull it out and read a few pages. It’s not ideal, but it’s better than
not getting to read at all.

Oh, Boy… when do I find time to read…. in between a full-time job, household duties and chores, cleaning, cooking and what not… a passion for quilting and crocheting… well, five minutes here or there unless it’s a really good, must read and then all of the above seem to take second place… and always about 15 minutes before lights out at bedtime….
Thanks for the giveaway

I read after the kids are in bed and before hubby comes to bed. I would rather be tired in the morning than rested with no reading! I also try to squeeze a few minutes while I am waiting for the kids at the dentist or the doctor’s office. If it is a long red light and a really good book, I might sneak a peak then too!

LOVE TO READ – but definitely not enough time in my life :) I, like you, read while I’m drying my hair, but also while at the gym, while waiting to pick my daughter up from school and as I lay down to go to bed.
