To find the best deals this Christmas, it’s time to start thinking about your shopping strategies. Yes, already! Toys “R” Us is offering Free Layaway with no up front service charge now through December 16, 2012 for all customers. This is an extension of their original layaway program date.

Here’s how the Toys R Us Layaway works:
- 20% Down Payment Required at Time of Layaway Reservation
- Free Service Charge until Oct. 1, 2012 (Save $5)
- $5 Service Charge after Oct. 1, 2012
- Must pay 50% of total Layaway order within 45 Days
- May use Cash, Debit, Credit, Check, or Gift Card as Acceptable Payment Forms
- Pick Up Layaway Items by December 16, 2012
- Canceled Orders may be Subject to $10 Charge (State-Specific)
This is a great way to purchase a high-priced holiday item without having to pay the full amount up-front. It also might be good for helping hide the gifts if your children are ones to peek.
