NOW CLOSED: Dry Clean on a Budget with Woolite + Giveaway Ends 5/22

May 13, 2009 by Briana Carter

dry-cleaners-secret-wooliteDry Cleaning can be expensive and Woolite has a product to help you reduce your dry cleaning budget! They have a new alternative to professional dry cleaning called Dry Cleaner’s Secret.

I don’t have very many dry clean only clothes. Since my son recently went through with First Communion, we purchased an adorable suit for him. (he he, he would die to know I called something he wears adorable!)

After wearing his suit for a short morning, this was the perfect opportunity to try this out! It is very simple to use. You can spot clean if necessary. All you do is place the cleaning cloth in the dryer and tumble on Medium heat for 20 minutes. No dropping off, picking up, or the huge dry cleaner’s bill! Just fresh clothes – ready to wear!

More Money Saving: You can request a money saving coupon for $1 by emailing your name and mailing address to feedback@drycleanerssecret.com.

A 14 ct. package retails for $19.99 but I’m finding it on sale for around $15 online. This is $1/sheet. One Sheet can clean up to four pieces. Over time, the savings can add up big!

One lucky Bargain Briana reader will also get to try out Woolite’s Dry Cleaner’s Secret.

How to Win?

Easy Entry: Leave me a comment – What is your laundry status right now? Do you have items to pick up at the dry cleaner’s? I don’t but I have 4-5 loads of clean clothes to fold!

Bonus entries (Up to 4 additional entries):

  • Blog about this giveaway.
  • Tweet this giveaway: “Save Money on Dry Cleaning with Woolite’s Dry Cleaner’s Secret. Win a 6 pack @bargainbriana”
  • Grab my button. (It is on my sidebar)
  • Subscribe to my free newsletter via email or RSS. (You don’t want to miss out on any deals/giveaways!!!)
  • Digg, Technorati, Twitter, Stumble, etc. If you twitter, be sure to include me (@bargainbriana) in the twitter so it see it.

Leave a separate comment for each extra entry. It is very important that you leave a separate comment for each additional extra entry.

Ends around 5/22/2009 at 11:59 EST. (As long as you can still comment you can enter!) Winner, chosen by random.org, will be announced on the Giveaway Winners Page by 05/23/2009 and I will contact you shortly. (If winner doesn’t respond to my email within 48 hours, I will pick another winner.)

Ugh, extra laundry, a newly potty trained toddler that sometimes forgets to go, or doesn’t make it after nap, not what we needed for our already behind laundry schedule. :D I hang to dry, so the rain we’ve been getting has kept me behind, that’s my excuse ;) Thanks for the giveaway!

Ughhh. . . Laundry – it NEVER stops! I wonder if I could get it all done in one day – washed, dryed, folded AND put away? Only if I made the kids run around naked so I could wash what they were wearing! Seriously, it gets so monotonous! Trying new laundry products helps to make it more interesting! I also enjoy hanging my clothes (not underwear & socks) on the line when the weather cooperates!

We don’t have anything to pick up at the dry cleaners because we just don’t go. Sad, I know. As of today, I think we have 2-3 loads of clothes to fold… until I start all over again with my son’s and our laundry. It’s a never-ending cycle. Boo!

My laundry is clean, but still in the laundry room-waiting to be put away. It’s the worst part about laundry. I do not have any dry cleaning waiting for me-I usually wait for the $1 coupons at the $2 cleaner, and take in a load there about twice a year-luckily I do not have THAT many clothes t0 be dry cleaned, and I can usually just refresh them in the dryer in between cleanings.

I’m a little behind on laundry. Last week the weather was cool and we were wearing long sleeves and pants. This week we’re wearing short sleeves and shorts. The cooler weather clothes will be packed away after this week’s wash. I bought the cutest skirt without looking at the care instructions. It has to be dry cleaned. I try to stay away from dry clean only clothes as much as possible. DH has dress pants he has to wear to work so our dry cleaning bill is high enough. I’d love to try this new Woolite!

My current laundry status? If you could see it, you would cry with me. We have moved a few times over the past few months. The first place we moved from had a serious mold/mildew problem which got the smell into all our clothes, bedding, towels, etc. We washed as much as we could at the next place, but there we were living with smokers so we ended up with everything smelling like cigarette smoke. Now, we are in our own house and we have piles and piles of laundry to wash just in the hope of getting fresh smelling laundry. With a family of 6, including an infant and a potty-training toddler, we create lots of laundry without having extra to do, so I expect to be done in about 10 years. LOL

Uck, my situation is awful. We don’t have a washer and dryer in our apartment (it’s technically a house that was poorly split into two apartment, so the downstairs neighbors have the laundry room). We have a laundry mat close by but it costs so much money unless we wait until we have enough to use the the super sized washer’s. So right now, I have two overflowing baskets waiting to get hauled over.

Lately anything that needs to get dry cleaned just ends up getting hand spot washed and hand steamed.
