NOW CLOSED: Little Debbie Muffin Giveaway Ends 6/12 (3 Winners!)

June 1, 2009 by Briana Carter

IMG_0622

Little Debbie just sent us some of their muffins to try out. We were able to try the new Little Debbie Lemon, limited time Double Chocolate, Cranberry-Orange, Blueberry, and Chocolate Chip.  They are individually wrapped so it makes it nice for lunch boxes, breakfast snacks, anytime snack, etc.

Even though, I’m trying to watch my calories, I did sneak a few bites. Yummy! They are deliciously, moist – even the stumps. If you are a Seinfeld fan you will get that reference. If not, just carry on.

The only drawback. A few bites = one muffin. My only complaint is the muffins are small (or maybe just normal size compared to the daily caloric intake muffins from the bakery!) As they are so yummy, you want to eat the whole box – but don’t because each muffin is around 200 calories.

The Blueberry variety is my kid’s fav as you can see from this short video (yep, we are WT like that with no shirt!).  The Blueberry tasted more blueberry than other blueberry muffins I’ve tried. If you know my background, I’m a big time lover of Blueberry muffins….even eating an entire fresh batch when I was about 10….oops!

My 10 year old daughter stated “These are the best.muffins.ever.” In that typical almost middle school voice.

One thing I know for certain – the five boxes of muffins will be gone in no time. Delish muffins + Hungry Children = disappearing muffins.

In the month of June, when you buy any package of Little Debbie DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP Muffins, you get .75 back for college Upromise eCoupons.

Ready to try them?

Little Debbie is going to send 3 of my lucky readers a muffin package like mine! A box of each: Lemon, limited time Double Chocolate, Cranberry-Orange, Blueberry, and Chocolate Chip!

How to Win?

Easy Entry: Leave me a comment on which variety you want to try. Any funny muffin stories to share? I shared mine. You can share yours!

Bonus entries (Up to 4 additional entries):

  • Blog about this giveaway.
  • Grab my button. (It is on my sidebar)
  • Subscribe to my free newsletter via email or RSS. (You don’t want to miss out on any deals/giveaways!!!)
  • Digg, Technorati, Twitter, Stumble, etc. If you twitter, be sure to include me (@bargainbriana) in the twitter so it see it.

Leave a separate comment for each extra entry. It is very important that you leave a separate comment for each additional extra entry.

Ends around 6/12/2009 at 11:59 EST. (As long as you can still comment you can enter!) Winner, chosen by random.org, will be announced on the Giveaway Winners Page by 06/13/2009 and I will contact you shortly. (If winner doesn’t respond to my email within 48 hours, I will pick another winner.)

I’d love to try the Lemon muffins. I LOVE lemon! :)

Funny muffin story? Well there was the time when I was maybe 11 or 12 and my friend and I were making muffins together. We put in WAY too much baking powder and ended up having to make about 12 dozen muffins I think! It was a long muffin making operation!

    Thanks for a yummy giveaway!

My grandson loves blueberry muffins. He also likes chocolate, but blueberry is his favorite. When he comes to visit we always make blueberry muffins and put them in a lidded cake pan that once belonged to my aunt. He calls it the “muffin pan.”

    I love lemon muffins… mmm….
Our daughter would get into muffins when we were out when she was smaller. I stopped at Tim Hortons a couple times with her and shared a muffin since she was starting to get hungry. A one year old can make an ENORMOUS mess of a Tim Hortons when let loose with a muffin. She has never been one to eat nicely broken up bits at all (at two she prefers to try to ‘cut’ her own food and it absololutely must look like mummy’s when it is given to her or else…) at least it seemed to amuse the older people having a coffee in the middle of the day ;)

I can’t think of any funny muffin stories… Whenever I see blueberry muffins I think of a part from some movie (but I can’t remember what it is!) where there is a character insisting that all the muffins have the same number of blueberries. Cracks me up, for some reason.

    Dark Chocolate or Cranberry/Orange
    YUMMY!!!!

I like to add all sorts of things to my muffins to make them healthy.
I’ve been cutting out some of the white flour and using 1/2 white 1/2 wheat, wheat germ or bran added in..no measuring those just adding some in. I also like to add 1/2 cup to 1 cup of a healthy juice like Juicy Juice Immunity or something like that.

Double Chocolate Muffins? Sign me up and Why oh Why are these limited Edition as these would be my all time favorite Flavor being the chocolate lover that I am!

    Ok, my muffin story.. ha
I was making Hubby chocolate chips muffins from a mix.. and I started to think.. hey. follow the directions. so instead of adding the water or milk or whatever it was that was required… My chocoholic brain put in Chocolate milk! Then I dumped in about 2 cups of dark chocolate chips and added some cocoa powder!

Poor Hubby was supposed to eat these as a “light Breakfast”.. no way.. these turned out to be a DECADENT dessert! OMGosh such a YUM YUM!!

Thanks for the chance to win!!

    Bargain Bri,

I have this one in the bag! I want to try the chocolate chip because
my #2 son eats two bags of chocolate chip muffins that we get at the
Hostess Discount store every morning of his life. He opens both packages, gets the muffins out and arranges them in a straight line before eating them, one by one. My husband goes to the Hostess Discount store every Wednesday to stock up on these because you get your card double-stamped on Wednesdays. The clerk calls him The Muffin Man. He would die if he knew I wrote this!!

The Cranberry-orange sounds quite yummy! Not really a funny muffin story but I went thru a time when I was baking a lot! I was always trying recipes that I found in Woman’s Day and Family Circle and a church cookbook that belonged to my mother…..My favorite thing to bake was muffins–blueberry, citrus, bran, sweet, molasses, applesauce, etc. Of course, tasting them was half the fun! One day I decided to make some muffins made with cream of chicken soup. ……….oh man. Talk about disgusting!! Totally inedible. My dog even turned up his nose at them and refused to eat ’em.

Other than that one incident, my baking adventures went pretty well!
