NOW CLOSED: The Skinny on Credit Cards Book Giveaway Ends 6/19

June 4, 2009 By: Briana Carter

the-skinny-onThe Skinny On book series are  very easy read but also educational. In our busy lives, it is hard to get motivated to sit down and read a traditional non-fiction bo0k.  The Skinny on Credit Cards translates all the information into language all of us can understand in a fun and informative way.

You can read more full review on The Skinny on Credit Cards By Jim Randel over at the Buzz…by Bargain Briana. I have one copy to give away to a Bargain Briana reader!

Love ’em if they’re paid off every month and used for the rewards. Hate ’em if they are used to buy stuff you can’t afford and can’t be payed off at the end of the month.

Leave them! I’m in quite a bit of credit card debt myself from being an uneducated college freshman 4 years ago! I didn’t have a job and used my credit cards to pay for everything. Regretting it now.

Thanks for the great giveaway and all of your hard work! =]

I could leave the credit cards. Nice convenience at times, but that interest isn’t worth it!

i love the fact that this book is an EASY READ & looks like it would be good to read with your children also to teach them about credit cards early in life. Or like you said it would be a great book for a recent graduate.

I think that maybe one, possibly two that is NOT carried around with anybody would be best, especially for emergencies- and not those that include” I forgot to plan dinner and I’m too tired to cook so lets order pizza!” emergency, like “the car broke down and I need to pay this quickly!” emergency!

Leave them! I started listening to Dave Ramsey and I’m working on my debt snowball. Only $2k left in student loans and $1k on a credit card. I haven’t used my credit card in months….just working on paying everything off.
