For those of you who live in my area, remember the store Bargain Bob’s (Yep a corny name- that’s probably why I like it!)? I have fond memories of that store. Sad when it went out of business in the late 90s?
I remember shopping there while a kid with my mom looking for shoes…probably fighting over which pair to buy (she is the one who instilled in me always buying things on sale!). Growing up, we usually could only buy it if it was on sale. I say the same thing to my kids and can totally see their eyes rolling at me like I used to do to my mom. As a kid’s its hard to wait for things especially when you want the latest styles RIGHT.NOW. As a parent, though, you know that eventually almost everything goes on sale so it can wait. Plus, it is always a good excuse to say no!
Back to Bargain Bob’s, All I can remember is that it seemed huge and they had bins of stuff everywhere. So that is part of the reason WHY I named my blog “Bargain Briana”.
