Meijer Show & Tell

July 23, 2008 By: Briana Carter2 Comments

My goal is to stay under $50 this week for my grocery shopping…I think I did it…(even with my CVS & Staples shopping!) For $39 (ncludes sales tax), I got all of this at Meijer:

Photobucket

2 Huggies @ 7.99 – (2) $1.50/1 (home mailer) = $12.98

2 Kraft Olive Oil Mayo @ $2 – (2) $1/1 = $2

3 Betty Crocker Warm Delights @ $1 – (3) .50/1 doubles to $1.00 = FREE

3 Mini Marshmallows @ .89 = $2.67 (to make Rice Krispy Treats from last week’s cereal deal!)

2 Clean Team Packs @ $1.99 – $3/2 (insert coupon) = $1

4 Crayola Markers @ $1 = $4

2 Papermate Pens @ .50 = $1

5 Poptarts @ $1.33 = $6.65 **Kellogg’s Backpack Qualifier

1 Cheez its @ $2.50 **Kellogg’s Backpack Qualifier

1 Yogos @ $2 – $1/1 (insert coupon) = $1 **Kellogg’s Backpack Qualifier

1 Backpack @ $19.99 – 40% off – $10 off wyb $10 worth of Kellogg’s Products = $1.99

They can be expensive. If you are not brand loyal and sign up for all the email offers and then watch the sales, you won’t have to spend a fortune! Another option is cloth diapering…I did that when they were babies and I was still BFing. Thanks for visiting for my blog!

This is a great post. My girlfriend isn’t due for a while but I’m super nervous about buying diapers. I’m going to have a little one soon and I heard they can be around $150 to $200 a month. I’m glad you found a great deal.
