You might have noticed…

November 10, 2008 by Briana Carter

You may noticed that I haven’t posted any Show & Tell of my recent shopping trips! Why? Because I haven’t been shopping in weeks besides picking up basics such as milk, bread, deli items at our local grocery store.

I’ve been kind of slacking but we do have quite a stockpile. It is one of my many reasons I LOVE my stockpile! At times I get lazy, don’t feel like clipping & shopping, or the deals aren’t interesting to me, so I just don’t go for awhile. I get burnt out on CVS & Walgreens at times too. I will be making a trip to Meijer and CVS sometimes this week…I’m excited about the deals this week AND we are on red alert for toilet paper!!!

I know I’ve been slacking when my husband, who HATES that I stay up late, asked me to stay up late and get my grocery list together!

I’m the same way…I’ll take a break when I need to. Sometimes the deals (for me) just aren’t there. I don’t even anticipate submitting an EasySaver rebate this month, because nothing really looks too enticing. I’m hoping Walgreens kicks it up a notch for December :)

Love the husband comment – how true it is they complain about the time it takes you until they run out of cookies and candy bars.

It’s good to be reminded that it’s okay to take a break now & then. I try to tell myself that another deal is around the corner so I should just relax a little!

I’d love to have a stockpile…it’s a goal for when we get a house! It must be really nice to be able to survive off of that for a while.
