  1. I love to have a picnic at Indiana Beach. My family used to go and stay every year and we would always pack a picnic and take it with us everywhere we went. Since there were 9 of us total eating out was not optional. I have so many good memories of us just setting by the water eating our picnic lunch and enjoying each others company.

  3. My favorite place to picnic is anywhere my two men are (son and husband)! I love spending time with them!

  4. Our favorite place to picnic is with Daddy at the fire station. It’s fun to go see him because the kids miss him when he works 24 hour shifts. We like to sit outside the station and enjoy the weather while we can!

  25. We have a park not far from our house that has a duck pond and lots of old trees. We love to go early in the fall when all of the leaves are turning and have a picnic and then play in the leaves!

  26. Any where I go is great for a picnic. Taking the grandkids to the beach is the best! My grandson Tannor, had a picnic set similar to this one that he bought from his aunt at a moving sale. It had never been used. We were having a yard sale of our own and he brought it so we could have a picnic during the slow times at the sale. A customer saw it (we had already eaten and cleaned everything in it) and wanted it so badly, that he sold it to her. He has a heart of gold and I sure would love to replace it for him.

  42. My favorite place to picnic is along the Blue Ridge Parkway just outside of Little Swizterland NC! The last time we went it did involve some wonderful Swanson chicken salad!

  55. I like having a picnic in our yard. It is so convenient. I have the two people i love the most, if i need anything i go inside and get it, and last but not least we save on gas. However, we have had picnics in the state parks and we have enjoyed them as well.

  78. My favorite place to picnic when it is cold outside is on the living room floor. We spread out a big blanket and picnic on the floor. We usually put on a movie and bring out pillows and blankets after the picnic stuff is cleaned up.

  121. My favorite picnic spot is at the marina in San Leandro, CA. There are great bbq areas with a view of the bay and you can watch airplanes land at the Oakland Airport. It’s a frequent, fun (and inexpensive!) date spot for my fiancee Chris and I!

  171. I love to have a picnic in our livingroom with just the two of us. You can have music, candles and that checkerboard print blanket on the floor, open the screen door to hear the sounds, it is best at night.

  174. main entry: well we live in beautiful tenn right at the great smokey mountains where there are so many wonderous sites to picnic but my favaorite would have to be cades cove which is miles of wilderness mountain land of green blue grass fields which deers will be grazing in and you can ither drive your car thru the country rock roads and just enjoy the many wild life you will see of deers/ black bears /red foxes wild flowers /old homesteads /churches /fresh running creeks/or you can stop at any of the places just mentioned and toss out a blanket on the ground and picnic for as long as you please, just be ready to run if your in the way or path of the black mother bears and her cubs. It’s wonderful to go there for the day find the perfect spot to lay out your blanket eat your lunch and just take in all of natures beauty then drive on down to the grist mill and watch them make corn meal and look at the old homesteads.   176. My favorite places to have a picnic are either down by the lake, or up in the mountains. Here in vegas its a bit to hot to do it anywhere else. ^-^

  182. My favorite place is in my backyard with my grandkids. We make a big deal of it. pretend we are deep in the forrest. We have so much fun. Their father sets up a tent and he sleeps in the tent after i get through with our picnic. It’s a great time.

  220. Chain O’Lakes State Park is my favorite place to picnic. There is a lot you can do there before & after you eat – walk the trails, swim, canoe, fish, or camp. They have a playground and large open areas to play ball or frisbee or tag.

    My favorite place to have a picnic is on my balcony. Sometimes it’s hard to have a “real” picnic in the city, so my boyfriend and I will do the next best thing – pack up a basket of food and enjoy the evening on our balcony. We’ll stay out there “picnic’ing” until the sun goes down!

  236. My favorite place to picnic is at Lavon Lake- about 15 miles from the house. There is a swimming area that the kids love there.

  241. My favorite place to picnic is Crabtree Falls. We were on a hike and picnic there when my husband proposed. My next favorite is a park in our area. It has a great view of tree and flowers, is quite, and during the day there are not a lot of people there. So when we can sneak away on a weekday for a picnic that is where we go.

  242. The best place to picnic is packing up a lunch and bring it to the Police Department and have lunch with hubby. We can sit outside on the picnic table and hopes he doesn’t have to make a run during that time. We usually get to enjoy before he is off helping someone – but sometimes he has to take it on the run.   244. There’s a park not that far from our house that is a nice place to go for a family picnic. And when the weather isn’t so good we’ve been known to have a picnic in the living room in front of the fire.

  247. The beach is the best as long as you can ignore the sand getting on everything. Our favorite beach has a park (before you get to the sand) where the food stays. You get the best of both worlds!

  250. We have many favorite places to picnic. There are no less than 5 municipal parks within walking distance from our house that are always fun to visit. Our favorite is when we gather a groupof friends after church on Sunday and meet either in our backyard or the park closest to church.
