We had the opportunity to review the new Wii Game from Southpeak, Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball.  This is a great game for family fun! I also have one to giveaway to my readers!

  12. Funny, we just were looking at this game. My family turns of the TV and enjoys playing the Wii. This has become our new game night.

  15. I love playing WII with my husband – we have so much competitive fun! Our two year old “joins” in as well – we’ve given him a remote without batteries, so he thinks he’s playing, but won’t turn off the game! His favorite is MarioKart, he’ll pick out which characters for us to play as – so much fun!

  22. As of right now we just play the wii fit with our daughter. She is hilarious! She loves to take the cleats or Panda heads to the face and she likes to sway and be a penguin. It’s really fun!

  37. We love the Wii! My three kids pooled their money to buy a used one and few games last year. My favorite is tennis. The kids love them all. My brother and sister-in-law bring some of their games when they come.

Your review’s last paragraph sold me on the game, since I am older and still like to play video games, and you’re also honest in your assessment: “One drawback is the characters are a little hard to change but overall this is a fun, family game. It is really fast paced so it is hard for us “older” people to keep up. In contrast, the kids seemed to get the hang of the game rather quickly.”

  78. I must admit that I do not have children yet (my first boy is due Nov.21!), but I have a Nintendo Wii that I play often with my 2 brothers-in-law. We love playing it! They do not have one at home, so when they come to my home that is the first thing they want to do! My husband and I do not get a lot of “fun” time with the boys, and this is their chance to play some fun games with their brother. They really enjoy kicking our butts at Mario Party! That time we spend with them is so important to us because in a few short years they will be in high school, not wanting to do anything with us! We cherish every moment, even if they are winning!
