I think it’s safe to say we all have experienced a certain sense of loss at some point in our lives. My family and I are in a great deal of sadness over the loss of my cousin, and Bargain Bri’s brother, Billie. Our family is very large, but also very close. Bill always went out of his way to say hi to me. He had his unique way of making us all smile and laugh. My heart goes out to my Aunt Gloria, Uncle Tim, Braden and Briana, as well as the rest of our family devastated by this sudden loss.
Today I would like to suggest some healing exercises. With deep emotional pain we may not feel like exercising today, tomorrow, or even a week from now. That’s definitely fine. You may not want to hear it right away, but exercise could potentially save us from these blue days.
It’s at these moments when we are feeling our weakest, that we dig for inner strength. Make your healing social. Walk hand-in-hand with a friend, lover, family member. Take your child to the park. Plant flowers. Walk the dog. Sit in the sunshine. Or take a friend to Yoga class.
On Monday we will celebrate Billie’s life together as a family. Forever we will carry memories in our hearts.
Gloria
