The end of summer and back to school season means CRAZI-NESS for most parents – including me! CVS/pharmacy works hard to make gearing up for the school year not only more convenient but more affordable for parents. I’m sure many of you will be surprised to know that you can head to your local CVS/pharmacy to get everything your need from school supplies to prescriptions to snacks for after school or school lunches – all in one easy shopping trip. We post all of the weekly deals and coupon matchups for CVS here.
The ExtraCare loyalty program allows families to earn rewards every time they shop at CVS/pharmacy all year long. Today ExtraCare is the largest retail savings and rewards program, with more than 70 million active member households in the last 6 months. Shoppers love ExtraCare because it is designed with consumers in mind – offering personalized value to each and every member, in the store, online and on-the-go.
My kids are back to school already but I know many of you will be going back to school in the coming weeks. During the back to school season, ExtraCare members will receive offers like bonus ExtraBucks Rewards (“free CVS money!) on all kinds of school supplies for popular national brands as well as CVS/pharmacy brands. Each week CVS/pharmacy will offer savings on all the major necessities like filler paper, notebooks, composition books.
Where to Find the CVS/pharmacy Savings?
- Weekly Circular: Find these in your newspapers, in-stores, or online at CVS.com.
- ExtraCare Coupon Center: I like to call this the magic coupon center! These are usually found near the front of your stores. Scan your ExtraCare card BEFORE shopping to take advantage of all your coupons. Keep scanning your card until it tells you no more coupons! I can often scan 2-3 times before this happens. You will receive personalized coupons, Beauty Care ExtraBucks, and your quarterly ExtraBucks through the Coupon Center.
- CVS.com: Not only will you find the weekly circular online but you can create an account and link to your ExtraCare card and view all available savings and rewards. Print coupons from home or use the “Send to Card” feature to automatically send the savings to your ExtraCare card.
- CVS/pharmacy Mobile App: Download the FREE CVS/pharmacy mobile app available on iOs and Android to get updates on deals and offers for back to school such as the “Deal of the Day” feature.
Follow CVS on Twitter and Facebook to keep up to date with the latest news and their hot back to school promotions.
