Watermelon Kiwi Pops

Watermelon Kiwi Pops

Every summer, my children and I love making our own homemade popsicles in popsicle molds. They are much, much cheaper and healthier than store-bought popsicles, and the flavor combinations are endless. We always have a great time searching through the fridge and cupboards to see what new and interesting flavor combinations we can try.

One downside to making your own popsicles, however, is that they can take a long time to set. And while I work hard to teach my children patience, I have to admit, when the summer weather really starts to heat up, the last thing I want to do is wait hours for our popicles to be ready.

If you have the same problem, don’t worry, I have a great solution: the Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker. These awesome popsicle molds can make popsicles on your counter in as little as seven minutes, and it doesn’t require electricity. It really is a very neat little gadget.

One Zoku pop recipe my family finds really yummy is this Watermelon Kiwi Pops recipe. As if a watermelon popsicles recipe wasn’t fun enough already, these Watermelon Kiwi Pops really take the flavor to a whole new level. I love the way the flavors mix together–sweet, juicy and delicious. They even look like watermelon too!
