Are you looking for a fun yet educational gaming system for your child? The Leapster Explorer Learning System from LeapFrog may be right for you. This handheld device functions like many other personal game consoles with age appropriate educational games.

Designed for children age 4 to 9, the Leapster Explorer can be used to play games, watch videos, read e-books, and more! All while learning a variety of skills including reading, writing, math, and science.

The first thing I noticed and appreciated about the Leapster Explorer was the ability to move the pen to adjust for left handed children. My youngest is a leftie so this is a great feature which makes it accessible to use either your left or right hand.

IMG_2175

You may also want to add this handy carrying case which holds several games and your Leapster Explorer console. This is handy because you know your child will want to take it everywhere!

Many popular game titles to choose from including Toy Story 3, Tinkerbell, Dora, and many more.

You can even downloads games, apps, books, and other learning tools from LeapFrog Connect. Your system comes with one free downloadable Leaplet learning application credit. It was fairly painless to set up and download. You can see everything you have downloaded on the “On My Leapster” tab.

Many games to choose from and what’s cool in the LeapFrog Connection application, there are some games you can customize.

How would you like to win a LeapFrog Leapster Explorer Giveaway package valued at $250 including several games including Toy Story 3, a carry case, and more!

I absolutely fell in love with the fact that you can keep track of your childs improvement or skills online and that the program emails you updates. I also love that you choose what they learn and can download games or apps. to the explorer. I really loved the camera feature as well and that its touchscreen!!! I did alot of research on this because I thought it would be perfect for my 9 yr old who is dislexic and has a hard time coping with it and when she borrowed my nieces leapster 1 she just fell in love with it and has been asking for one although it is out is something I could never afford so winning this would mean so much to me.

My favorite feature is the variety of popular game titles. This is perfect for my 6 year old who would love to have a handheld gaming device like his 12 year old big brother! He has been using his old leap pad from when he was young. Leap Frog products are so wonderful and they last! We have been so happy with the Leap pad but this just seems remarkable! It would be neat to win one for him.
