I’m always talking about the rocking deals that I get! I HATE HATE when I NEED something and I don’t have a coupon or there isn’t a sale going on…just ask the family how it feels to be down to the last roll of TP and your mom wants to wait one more day to see if it is going to be on sale! (One Square World – Sheryl Crow anyone?) Thanks to the CVS P&G Deal a few weeks back, we are good on TP for now. This week, I need to work on diapers at CVS since we are almost completely out…haven’t asked at daycare how my supply is but I’m guessing it is low too. (I’m almost of contact solution too – but haven’t seen any good deals on it yet!!!)
So here is a little list of how low I want to go for some products:
I won’t ever need to buy toothpaste/toothbrushes again. Even when it is .50/pkg, that is too much for me. They need to pay me to take it home anymore. (Now “we” have a strong brand preferences towards Crest Pro-Health so I will buy that kind for 1.00 or less – dang brand preferences!)
Shampoo is still a good price for me at $1.00/bottle but I prefer .50 or free. Head & Shoulders (brand preference for the better half) is hard to fine a good deal on so I will spend a couple of bucks on that. Kid’s shampoos need to be around .50/bottle. Any brand I don’t like, goes straight up to the kid’s bathroom.
Body Wash – Still good on those from a CVS deal from way back…have too many to count…plus all the Bath & Body products that I got 90% off last Christmas. So Body wash has to be free for me to take it home. Bar soap, I like to get it for about .10 – .20/bar.
I use the refillable shavers as disposal. At the price they let me take those home (Almost Free, paying me, or FREE), it is cheaper to do that, than buy the refills for them! (see this month’s Bic Deal). Of course, the better half has a brand preference on razors too so I have to spend extra on those…but I will use anything.
Pads & Tampons – they have to be free or paying me to take them home. I’m still good from the CVS October 2006 extravaganza that I don’t know when I will need anymore. So I will only pick those up if they are free.
Deodorant. Good there too. It has to be free or under .25 for me to pick it up. Check out this month’s Sure deal at CVS to find out how they will pay you to take it home!!!
Cleaning supplies. No brand preference there. Though, the best deals I find are on the once every 10 weeks or so Lysol deals. I have about 15 cleaning products stored up. Do I use them? Occasionally – I should spend more time USING them than finding cheap deals for them that is FOR SURE. That stockpile should last me oh, another decade. hardy, har, har. I prefer around .50/bottle for a cleaner, and .25 or less for the toilet bowl cleaner. Windex, anything under $1.00 is good. Air fresheners have to be free or less than .25 for me to take them home!
