DIY May the Force Be With You Glow Stick Star Wars Lego Valentine

February 7, 2014 by Briana Carter

Star Wars Glow Stick Valentine

My youngest daughter and I recently spent an entire evening creating and coming up with cute ideas for Valentine’s Day cards! These were so much fun and actually much easier than I anticipated. For you, they will be even easier as all you will need to do is print out what we have created to make your cards. This one is a fun one for Star Wars fans!

To create these “May the Force Be With You” Valentine’s cards, you will need to buy some glow sticks. You should be able to find glow sticks at your local dollar store. If you can’t or don’t want to make the trip, you can find deals on glow sticks in bulk on Amazon too. Print out the printable below on card stock or regular paper. Then you will need to use a hole punch to create two holes. One at the top of the hand of the LEGO guy and the other below the black banner near the bottom. Then slide the glow stick through to create a light saber look!

Enjoy!

We tried both the thicker card stock type paper and just regular printer paper. Either one with work fine and I would just use whatever you have on hand to save money. Kids aren’t really going to care if it’s thicker paper so I’m fine with the inexpensive paper and it still looks nice.
