Homemade Vanilla Pudding Pops Recipe (Eggless!)

Homemade Vanilla Pudding Pops

Since it’s been pretty warm here lately, my children have been asking to make homemade pops. I thought that sounded like a fantastic idea, but only on one condition–we should find a great new recipe and make them ourselves. While we definitely buy store-bought popsicles on occasion, I just wasn’t in the mood for regular popsicles, and also, I thought making our own easy desserts would be a fun activity that would keep them entertained for a little while.

So I set out to find a good recipe, and this is what we settled on: Eggless Vanilla Pudding Pops. Not only did they look delicious, but we already had all of the ingredients on hand so we didn’t need to run to the store. Always a plus!

Homemade Vanilla Pudding Pops Recipe Ingredients

These Homemade Vanilla Pudding Pops were definitely different than the pops we are used to, but in a good way. They were a lot thicker, so they lasted longer, and they didn’t turn all of our mouths funny colors when we were done. This may or may not have been a good thing, since sometimes that’s half the fun. :)

The only thing I didn’t like about this recipe is since most of it takes place on the stove, my kids didn’t have as much opportunity to help as we would have liked. But the end results were still very yummy, so I don’t think anyone minded too much. Mostly, they were just happy to have these vanilla pudding pops.

The next time your family is in the mood for popsicles, why not try something a little different and make this Homemade Vanilla Pudding Pop recipe instead? We had a lot of fun, and I know your family would too.

Loving these pudding pops! They look so much better than the storebought kind. I think I might have to try and recreate the layered ones we used to eat as kids. :) I hope you can stop on by and share this or any other recipe with us on Five Friday Finds!

These look amazing and simple. I love pudding pops, but cannot bring myself to buy a box of pudding anymore. I’ll have to try your recipe.

These look so yummy! I can’t wait to try them– whatever happened to Pudding Pops they sold in the store? Oh well, I guess they’d be searching for a new spokesperson if they were still available!
